In the context of the projects supported by the Medical Foundation Queen Elisabeth (Q.E.M.F.), H.R.H. Princess Astrid (honorary president of the Q.E.M.F.) will visit, on Thursday 23 November 2017 at 10h30, the VIB Center for Brain & Disease Research, the department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Herestraat 49, 3000 Leuven.
The princess will visit the Laboratory of Cellular Transport Systems of prof. dr. Peter Vangheluwe, PhD and the Laboratory of Ion Channel Research of prof. dr. Thomas Voets, both winners of the research credits 2017–2019 of the Q.E.M.F..

In the context of the projects supported by the Medical Foundation Queen Elisabeth (Q.E.M.F.), H.R.H. Princess Astrid (honorary president of the Q.E.M.F.) will visit, on Wednesday 15 March 2017 at 10h30, the campus Drie Eiken of the Universiteit Antwerpen (UAntwerpen), Universiteitsplein 1, in 2610 Antwerpen (Wilrijk).
The princess will visit the laboratories of the research team of prof. dr. Christine Van Broeckhoven, PhD, DSc; scientific director VIB Center for Molecular Neurology, Laboratory for Neurogenetics, Neurodegenerative Brain Diseases Group, Institute Born-Bunge, where prof. dr. Marc Cruts, PhD; winner of the research credits 2014–2016 of the Q.E.M.F., is a staff member.
